I hate right-handed scissors

They're terrible, all I can do is fold paper =)
My first grade teacher even used to mock me because I "couldn't cut", I didn't even know why they didn't work for me until a bought a lovely pair of green scissors that almost seemed magical to me =)

I used to cry in class... I guess I still do... when we had to do stuff that uses scissors. I know the fold-paper phenomenon all too well..

All pairs? you can cut perfectly? The screw that holds together right-handed scissors forces lefties to pull them apart like a lever when used, thus there's a small space when we cut. Perhaps your hand positioning is different or you've just used "modern" scissors meant for either hand.

Right handed scissors DO NOT work for lefties. Only the flat edged ones for either right or left hand work. Don't even try to use Right hand sheers for cutting fabric if you're left-handed. You will have a deep crease in your thumb and won't be able to cut easily, either. No until I bought the left-hand sheers was I able to cut fabric.

i have a bump on top of my left thumb :( from using the damn things for years... I couldn't cut anything properly for years

When I lived in San Francisco in the 80s, there was a store on Pier 39 called... The Left-Hander's Store. They sold everything imaginable for left handers. Some items were ludicrous and funny. Don't know if it's still there, but I think you can google left-hander's stores now.
